Most of what I write begins with something ordinary. A conversation. A reaction I didn’t expect. Something happening in a relationship. A contradiction I can’t quite leave alone. A moment that makes me wonder why we do what we do when we already know better.

 

Writing gives me somewhere to stay with those questions a little longer.

 

Some pieces become practical. Some become personal. Some are simply an attempt to look more closely at what helps us become more capable of living from what matters to us.

 

Mostly, this is where I get to stay curious.
