TOTAL EMOTIONAL PERFORMANCE™

Knowing what matters to you is one thing.
Being able to live from it is another.

Most of us aren’t struggling because no one has ever given us good advice. We know communication matters, boundaries matter, sleep matters, stress matters, and we can often explain the exact pattern we keep repeating.

And then real life happens... and apparently none of our excellent insight got the memo.

Someone says the thing. We’re exhausted. Something doesn’t go according to plan. Fear gets loud. The old response shows up before the thoughtful one has even had a chance to get in the room.

That space between what we understand and how we actually live is where Total Emotional Performance™ comes in.

TEP is the applied framework behind much of my work. It looks at how we understand ourselves, experience emotion, interpret what's happening, make decisions, respond to other people, care for the physical body carrying us through all of it, and keep refining the way we participate in our lives.

The goal isn’t emotional control. It’s greater capability.

MORE THAN EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Emotional intelligence helps us understand.

Emotional agility helps us live it.

Emotional intelligence gives us language. It helps us recognize what we’re feeling, understand what’s happening, and see the impact of our behavior. It’s an important foundation.

But insight alone doesn’t create change.

Emotional agility is what helps us do something with that insight, especially when life is messy, people are involved, and the stakes feel real.

It’s the ability to stay with ourselves inside emotion, choose a response, and keep participating in our lives in a way that reflects what matters to us.

Total Emotional Performance™ integrates both. We build insight and capability, so you’re not just aware of your patterns. You’re more able to respond, set boundaries, communicate, make aligned decisions, and follow through in the places that matter most.

It’s not just about what we know.
It’s about how we live.

GREATER SELF-AWARENESS

MORE CAPABLE DECISIONS

STRONGER RELATIONSHIPS

A MORE SUSTAINABLE YOU

Understand your patterns, your needs, and what actually matters to you.

Choose a response instead of falling into the same old cycle when life gets hard.

Communicate, set boundaries, and stay more present with the people who matter.

Care for your emotional and physical well-being so you can keep participating in your life.

IN REAL LIFE

Knowing what matters is powerful. Practicing it while life is happening is where it becomes yours.

This work is not about collecting more insight for the sake of sounding self-aware. It’s about becoming more capable of noticing what’s happening, understanding what belongs to you, and choosing how you want to participate while real life is still unfolding.

Sometimes that means a better conversation. Sometimes it means a boundary, a pause, a clearer decision, or a more honest response to what your body, relationships, or patterns are showing you.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s greater capability in the places that matter most.

PRIVATE WORK

Sometimes understanding the pattern isn’t the issue at all.

You can see what’s happening. You may even know what you’d like to do differently. But when something is layered, emotionally expensive, or important enough, it can be useful to have someone beside you who can help you sort through it without taking it over.

That’s what my private work is for.

We might be talking about a relationship, leadership, boundaries, alcohol or another coping pattern, physical well-being, burnout, a major decision, or something that doesn’t fit neatly into a category. We start with what’s actually happening for you, not with a program I’ve already decided you need.

The work can shift as you do. Sometimes we’re sorting. Sometimes I’m challenging something you may not be seeing. Sometimes we’re figuring out what belongs to you to lead and what absolutely does not.

And no, the goal isn’t for you to need me forever. I want you becoming increasingly capable of reading yourself and the situation clearly, making decisions you respect, and trusting yourself to carry that into your own life.

Private work is intentionally selective. The right fit matters to me too.

START WITH THE CONVERSATION

You don’t need to know exactly what kind of work you need before reaching out.

You may have something very specific you want to work through, or you may simply know that the way you’re living, responding, relating, or carrying what’s in front of you isn’t working quite as well as you’d like anymore.

Tell me a little about what’s happening and what you’re hoping to understand, change, or become more capable inside.

From there, we can decide whether private work makes sense.

No pressure.

Just a conversation about whether this is the right fit.
