RECOVERY SUPPORT

When alcohol or substance use starts deciding too much.

Sometimes the question isn’t whether something has become a problem. The harder question is what to do with what you already know.

Recovery support at Turning Leaves® is for individuals and families who want practical, experienced guidance around alcohol or substance use, changing long-standing patterns, rebuilding trust, and creating a life that no longer has to revolve around the problem.

I don’t believe people are meant to spend their lives defined by what they had to overcome. The work is about becoming increasingly capable of living a clean, steady, self-directed life and building something you actually want to remain present for.

For families, that can also mean learning how to care without carrying, support without overfunctioning, and remain in a relationship with yourself while someone you love makes their own choices.

Recovery is part of the history of my work, and it remains an important part of the work available here.

For Individuals

Focused recovery coaching and support for creating and sustaining a clean life.

For Families

Guidance around boundaries, communication, support, and the emotional impact of loving someone who is struggling.

RECOVERY IN REAL LIFE

The goal isn’t to organize your entire life around the problem.

Recovery work can begin with alcohol or substance use, but it rarely stays confined to the substance itself.

We may be looking at habits, emotional regulation, relationships, trust, identity, routines, boundaries, decision-making, or what happens when the thing you relied on is no longer available to do the job it used to do.

For families, the work can look different but the questions are just as real. How do you support someone without managing their life? Where does compassion end and overfunctioning begin? How do you remain available to the relationship without disappearing inside it?

The work is practical, individual, and built around what is actually happening in your life.

NOT SURE WHERE YOU FIT?

You don’t have to know exactly what kind of support you need before reaching out.

If you’re trying to make sense of what is happening for you or someone you love, start with the conversation. We can determine what kind of support makes sense from there.
