LIVE WORKSHOPS
Some things make more sense when we work with them in real time.
Throughout 2027, I’ll be offering a limited series of live 90-minute workshops built around the things I write, teach, and find myself talking about every day: self-authority, emotional agility, relationships, personal responsibility, choice, and becoming more capable of experiencing the life that is already yours.
These aren’t lectures you sit through while collecting notes you’ll probably never look at again. Each workshop starts with something we actually encounter in real life, then gives us room to understand what’s happening, work with it differently, and leave with something useful enough to carry into the rest of our lives.
You don’t need to attend them in order. You don’t need to be part of a program. And you definitely don’t need to arrive already knowing what you’re supposed to do with any of it. Each workshop stands on its own.
THE 2027 WORKSHOP SERIES
Six workshops. Six real-life topics.
Each one stands on its own.

This Is My Life Too:
Self-Authority Without Controlling the Room
What changes when we stop waiting for other people, circumstances, or outcomes to cooperate before we allow ourselves to live differently?
We’ll look at where our authority actually lives, where control ends, and what it means to stay present in our own lives without trying to manage everyone else’s experience along the way.
This is a conversation about self-authority, choice, influence, and what becomes possible when we stop confusing influence with control.

Stop Coping Through Your Own Life
Coping gets us through things. Sometimes we absolutely need it.
But coping can also become so familiar that we stop noticing how often we are avoiding, numbing, fixing, overworking, overthinking, controlling, scrolling, withdrawing, or staying busy enough not to fully experience what is actually happening.
We’ll look at the difference between getting through life and being available for it, and what it means to become more willing to stay with the thoughts, feelings, relationships, uncertainty, and ordinary discomforts we would usually rather move around.
Life is not meant to be coped through. It is meant to be experienced.

When Being Capable Starts Costing You
Being the person who can handle a lot has its advantages. It also makes it surprisingly easy for “I can” to become “I should,” and eventually, “I guess this is mine.”
We’ll look at how capability quietly becomes assumed responsibility, why being reliable, useful, and needed can turn into a role we stop questioning, and what it takes to notice when competence is costing us more than we realized.
This isn’t about caring less. It’s about noticing when capability has stopped being a strength we use and started becoming a role we feel obligated to perform.

What’s Mine, What’s Yours, and What Am I Actually Responsible For?
We can care deeply about someone and still get confused about what is actually ours to carry.
We’ll look at responsibility, boundaries, expectations, and the pressure that can build when we start taking ownership of other people’s feelings, choices, reactions, or outcomes.
The goal isn’t to become detached. It’s to get clearer about where our part ends, where someone else’s begins, and how to stay connected without carrying what was never ours in the first place.

Knowing Better Isn’t the Same as Living Better
We can understand our patterns, recognize where they came from, know exactly what we want to do differently... and still find ourselves doing the same thing again.
That doesn’t mean the insight was useless. It means insight and access are not the same thing.
We’ll look at what can happen between knowing and doing, especially when emotions, old habits, relationships, or familiar roles get involved, and how to make what we know more available when we actually need it.
The goal isn’t to know more about ourselves. It’s to become more capable of living from what we already know.

Choose Again: What to Do After You React, Overthink, Overgive, or Get It Wrong
We’re going to react sometimes. Overthink. Overgive. Shut down. Say too much. Say too little. Miss the moment. Handle something differently than we wish we had.
The work isn’t becoming someone who never gets it wrong.
We’ll look at what happens after the reaction, how to evaluate without turning reflection into self-punishment, and how to repair, refine, and make a different choice without requiring the previous moment to disappear first.
Choosing again is not starting over. It’s what allows us to keep building from where we actually are.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A simple, useful experience.

90 minutes, live
Enough time to actually work with the topic without turning it into an all-day event.
Small-group format
Enrollment is capped so there is room for real-time participation, questions, and conversation.
Built for real life
You’ll leave with ideas and tools you can actually use in the life you’re already living.
Come as you are
You don’t need to prepare, perform, or arrive with the right answer. Bring whatever is true for you that day.
